RESIDENCY PROJECT of KUTZTOWN UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA

gallery3

Location: Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in Kutztown, PA, USA

Mission: The Marlin and Regina Miller Art Gallery at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania requests proposals from artists, crafts-persons, and designers for the production of an original, temporary, site-specific installation for our exhibition space. This residency will result in a month long exhibit. We search for proposals that demonstrate innovation and deep, nuanced understanding of contemporary art, craft, or design. We seek to provide opportunities for our students to gain experience in installation settings, as well as acquainting them with artists in the art world outside of the university.

Since 2009. Sponsored by the Dean’s office, College of Visual and Performing Arts sponsored project.

Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, located in rural Pennsylvania an hour north of Philadelphia, and two hours west of New York City, has an enrollment of 10,000+ students. Each year, our College of Visual and Performing Arts awards over 200 undergraduate degrees in Communication Design, Fine Arts, Art Education, Crafts, Art History, and Applied Digital Arts. Our Visual Arts programs are accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design.
