Alice Yard is an independent contemporary art space in the Woodbrook neighborhood of Port of Spain, Trinidad. Founded by architect Sean Leonard, it operates from a converted backyard space and hosts short residencies for Caribbean and international artists. The informal, community-embedded nature of Alice Yard — and Trinidad's extraordinary cultural energy (Carnival, calypso, soca, steelpan) — makes this a uniquely vibrant residency context. Housing and studio are provided; costs are minimal.

Proposal-Based Residency (Rolling)
130d leftAlice Yard, the Port of Spain artist-run space active since 2008 (and a documenta fifteen lumbung member), hosts visiting artists and curators on an informal, proposal-based model: email a CV and short project proposal to arrange a stay of a few days to a few months. Visits are generally self-funded or self-arranged, with funded routes occasionally available through partner projects.
