The Joan Mitchell Foundation's residency campus in New Orleans, opened in 2015. Artists-in-Residence receive a private studio for 6 to 10 weeks across Spring, Summer, and Fall sessions, a $150/week stipend, communal weekday meals, and professional development. Eligibility is focused: artists who are based in or native to New Orleans, and former Joan Mitchell Foundation grant recipients based anywhere in the United States.
