Künstlerhaus Schloss Balmoral

Set in a 19th-century palace above the Lahn River in Bad Ems, Balmoral offers 12-month residencies to emerging and mid-career international artists. Operated by the Rhineland-Palatinate Arts Foundation, the program provides a fully equipped studio, private living accommodation, and a monthly stipend of €1,300. One of the most generous and sustained funded residencies in Europe, it attracts artists from across the continent and internationally. Application is open to visual artists and interdisciplinary practitioners.
