Millay Arts

Millay Arts is located at Steepletop, the historic Hudson Valley estate of Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Edna St. Vincent Millay, nestled against the Berkshires. The flagship Core Residency (April–November) is fully subsidized, hosting 6–7 multidisciplinary artists per session through a blind jury process. Residents receive private bedroom and studio, groceries, and communal chef-prepared dinners. A $45 application fee applies ($60 late). Additional programs include a partially subsidized Steepletop Residency and a Wintertide Rustic Retreat (mid-December through March). Over 3,000 artists have been hosted since founding.
