WIELS is a contemporary art center in a former Wielemans-Ceuppens brewery in Brussels, one of Europe's most important exhibition spaces. The residency program offers studios within the building, placing residents alongside major international exhibitions. Brussels' position as a multilingual, multicultural capital — and one of Europe's most affordable major cities for artists — makes it an ideal base.
