The Bemis Center provides 2–3 month residencies in downtown Omaha with generous live/work studios ranging from 750 to 2,800 square feet. Each resident receives a $1,000/month stipend, free housing, 24-hour studio access, and a $750 materials budget. Founded in 1981, Bemis has hosted over 800 artists and is one of the most respected mid-career residencies in the Midwest.
