An anonymous reviewer had a difficult experience, describing the director as unwelcoming and unprofessional and saying that the collaborative environment and equipment access advertised did not match their experience on the ground. They noted the rest of the small team was pleasant. One unverified first-hand account. — Anonymous, 2015. Imported from the original ratemyartistresidency.com archive.
I am astonished with the previous comment!!! My experience as an artist resident at le CouveNt is just the opposite!. To start up with the place as the Residence is the midst of an splendid country side and it is a 17th century convent. The facilities, living place and working spaces are just great. The team is welcoming, always ready to listen and help in any way they can. And I had the chance to meet other artist residents during my stay that was rich in my own growth as an artist. The residency at the Le CouveNt helped my in moving my perception and create from other places. The coaching and and support received from the Director and whole team were precious to me. strongly recommend the artist residency at Le CouveNt to any artist and would be happy to answer any questions. — Anonymous, 2015.
