Co-founded by Dale Chihuly in 1971, Pilchuck Glass School sits on a 54-acre tree farm north of Seattle and is the world's leading center for glass art education. Artist residencies of 2–3 weeks include access to world-class hot glass, flameworking, kiln, and cold-working facilities. The residency is aimed at artists who wish to expand their practice through glass or integrate glass with other media.

2027 Residencies: Hauberg Fellowship & Innovation in Image

Hauberg Fellowship (a collaborative residency for a group of up to six cross-media artists) and the Innovation in Image Residency are due December 18, 2026, and the Emerging Artist in Residence program (glass experience required) closes January 15, 2027 — recurring annual dates; confirm on the apply page when the cycle posts. Residencies take place at the Stanwood, WA campus in 2027.
